Lifli Rulo ve Levha San. A. Ş. which was founded in 1973 by the owners of Leather Factories in Istanbul’s Kazlicesme region, is located on a large land in Izmit/Kosekoy.
After the assembly of the SALPA-1 which is a specific machinery bought from Italy, the company started the production of SALPA in 1975.
Our factory processes Shaved Leather Dust which is subjected to Crom +3 ions; that is an industrial waste produced by leather factories, and Manufactured Leather Wastes as Raw Materials in our facilities. This way we aim to recycle these wastes into our country’s industry. In our factory, we aim extraordinary service and quality and we produce:
• Manufactured Shoes and Slippers
• Various Leather Goods, Belts and Bags
Insoles ( Rejenareted Leather(Agromere) Leather-Vegetal) in various kinds and sizes for
• The Automotive and Furniture Industries
• Other industries according to consumer needs.
After the disastrous earthquake that happened in the Izmit region in 1999 and its effects on the economics, Lifli Rulo ve Levha San. A.Ş. terminated production for two years. After all of the shares of the company was bought by Akif Kopuz; a businessman from Rize, in 2001, the company started production in its facilities again.
In the following years, Lifli Rulo bought the rival company “Tader” and included it to its own organization. This time the company moved to its new factory which has 12000 m2 indoor field in Tuzla; Organized Leather Industry District . The new factory started operating with expert staff and modernized production facilities. While the production continued in the new location; they also continued Research and Development and started producing insoles from Natural Cellulose fibers. Currently with our four operating machinery, our factory produces 60 tons of products per day and meets a large section of the industry’s demands. Customer satisfaction is extremely important for us and we put a lot of emphasis on Environmental Health. We export successfully to 50 different countries and contribute largely to our country’s foreign currency income.
In 2017, incorporating the Aytaş company, it expanded its business volume.
